A versatile playmaker capable of covering any position as well as a dependable goal kicker, Meaney has become a key figure of the Melbourne Storm squad since joining from the Bulldogs following the 2021 season.
The Ballina Seagulls junior found a home at centre in 2025 with his impressive form earning him selection in the Australian PM XIII Squad, though he was later forced to withdraw due to injury.
