The son of former Canberra Raider Brett Hetherington, Jack made his NRL debut with the Panthers in 2018 before stints at the Warriors, Bulldogs and most recently Knights.
The powerful prop arrived at AAMI Park in the summer of 2025 having amassed 142 NRL appearances and has signed a one-year contract for the 2026 season.
Hetherington made seven NRL appearances for Newcastle in 2025.
