The Melbourne Storm have committed to playing their next 3 home games on the Sunshine Coast.

The move reduces travel for the team, who have played their last two “home games” in Sydney at Jubilee Stadium and in Brisbane at Suncorp Stadium.

“We’ve got to accept that there may be a realisation at some point that we’re gonna be away for potentially the rest of the season,” CEO Dave Donaghy told the Breakfast Club.

Donaghy says the club is doing every to prepare the players for this situation.

“I think mentally they’ve got their heads around it. I’m not in the bubble so I’m relying on the leadership group up there… the guys on the ground have done a great job on picking up some lessons and learnings from AFL clubs and the Warriors.
