Jersey Flegg Report: Round 12

Melbourne Storm’s Jersey Flegg side were unable to overcome a fast-starting Bulldogs outfit, going down 56-0 in their Round 12 clash in Sydney last Saturday.

The Bulldogs controlled possession early and capitalised on their opportunities in attack, opening the scoring midway through the first half before building momentum through consecutive tries.

Melbourne worked hard throughout the opening 40 minutes but struggled to contain the Bulldog’s attacking pressure, with the home side taking a 24-0 lead into half-time.

The Bulldogs continued their momentum after the break, adding further tries to extend their lead throughout the second half.

Storm’s Jersey Flegg side will turn their attention to next week’s fixture as they look to respond against the Roosters at home for Round 13.
