Melbourne Storm Statement: Josh Addo-Carr

Melbourne Storm Statement

The breach notice issued to Josh Addo-Carr today by the NRL is significant.

Details of the breach notice via an NRL media release can be found here.

Josh has been notified of the decision and he has five days to respond before a final determination is made by the NRL.

Whilst we are disappointed by what transpired on the weekend, the Club will ensure it provides the necessary wellbeing support for Josh and his family during this period.

Separately, the Club will further educate all players and staff regarding their responsibilities in relation to complying with the NRL’s extensive medical and football protocols ahead of the proposed recommencement of training on Monday, May 4.

Storm continues to support the considerable work being undertaken by the NRL to get the competition underway on May 28.

Storm officials will not be making any further comment in relation to this matter.
