Bromwich, Storm looking for settled pack

Injuries and suspensions have meant Melbourne has only fielded the same side in consecutive rounds once so far in 2018.

It is a stat that Jesse Bromwich and his teammates are keen to rectify as they move into the second half of the season. The forward pack's spearhead Jesse Bromwich explained a consistent line-up and by extension forward pack would help in the side's strive for consistency.

"We haven't had a very settled forward pack," Bromwich admitted.

"Myself getting injured, Dale and Tim being injured for a while, Kas (Sam Kasiano) getting suspended.

"Come the second half of the season I'd like to see a more settled forward pack, a lot of the boys playing big minutes and getting games together."

Time on the park as a unit will only help Craig Bellamy's side who have dealt with numerous personnel changes this season compared to last and Bromwich personally has an eye on stepping up his game as we hit the halfway point of the year.

"It's always tough when you get injured," Bromwich said.

"I'll look to build off that for the second half of the season and hopefully play some really good footy for this club.

"We've been pretty inconsistent this year – we're looking at being very consistent this second half of the season."
