Storm youngsters have featured strongly in the Intrust Super Cup awards on Wednesday night.

Brandon Smith was rewarded for a stellar season with the Sunshine Coast Falcons by taking out the Rookie of the Year honour.

Brodie Croft finished fourth in the Player of the Year voting, just seven votes behind eventual winner Ase Boas despite missing several games due to playing NRL and NYC games.

Croft was also selected as halfback in the Intrust Super Cup Team of the Year.

Justin Olam was named as the best centre in the competition due to his strong form for the Falcons throughout the year.

Both Storm feeder sides will play in elimination finals this Sunday.

Sunshine Coast host the Souths Logan Magpies at 1.30pm while Easts Tigers face the Townsville Blackhawks at 2pm.
