Storm playmaker Ben Roberts chats to the media ahead of Storm's sudden death Elimination Final, also providing an update on skipper Cameron Smith.

"He (Cameron Smith) trained with us today, he did what was expected of him," Roberts said when asked of Smith's status as he looks to overcome an ankle injury sustained in last weekend's match-up with the Broncos.

"We'll probably leave it until tomorrow morning to see how he pulls up and make a decision from there.

"They had planned out what he was going to do today and he got through all that."

Roberts also explained the buzz around the group as Storm enter the Club's 14th finals series.

"It's the business end of the season and it's what every football team strives to get to," Roberts said.

"It's a whole different competition and a challenge we're looking forward to."
