Season in Review:Bronson Garlick

It was a year of improvement and growth for Bronson Garlick in 2023, finding consistent playing time in the first grade and taking out the 2023 Melbourne Storm Most Improved Award.

After arriving at Storm on a development contract in 2022, Garlick made the switch to hooker in the pre-season and was rewarded with his NRL debut in Round 1 against the Eels in front of family and friends.

Garlick continued to make leaps and bounds throughout the year, scoring his first try in Magic Round against the Rabbitohs and demonstrating his defensive resilience, amassing 405 tackles at 93.8% tackle efficiency.

After making 16 appearances for the Easts Tigers in 2022, Garlick made the switch to the Sunshine Coast Falcons where he played just the four games this year, mixing as both hooker and lock, scoring one try and making 121 tackles.
