Bronson Garlick becomes player 227

Bronson Garlick will become Melbourne Storm player 227 when he makes his NRL debut tonight against the Eels.

Growing up in New South Wales, Garlick was a keen football player from the very beginning, playing for the South Eastern Seagulls.

Father Sean Garlick played 160 games for both the Rabbitohs and Roosters, helping to inspire a love of league in his soon.

A standout 2021 season in the NSW Cup with the Newtown Jets saw the 27-year-old join Melbourne on a development contract for 2022, suiting up for Storm feeder side Brisbane Tigers as he continued to work on his game.

Upgraded to the Top 30 squad in 2023, Garlick will start on the bench, becoming one of three debutants in Storm’s 2023 season-opening clash with Parramatta, alongside Will Warbrick and Eliesa.
