Cameron Munster and Harry Grant will wear the green and gold in October after being selected in Mal Meninga’s World Cup squad today.
The pair will make the trip to the United Kingdom for the 16-nation tournament with rugby league’s greatest international prize up for grabs.
The Kangaroos kick-off their campaign against Fiji in Leeds on Saturday 15 October looking to defend the title they won in 2017 when the tournament was held in Australia.
Munster is no stranger to the Kangaroos jersey, having featured twice in the 2017 tournament before returning to the international stage in 2019. In total the playmaker has four appearances in the green and gold.
Grant is yet to make his international debut but after playing a huge role in Queensland’s Origin series win will be in the frame after being selected as one of two hookers in the squad.
