State of Origin forward Felise Kaufusi will return to Melbourne Storm’s starting line-up for the crucial round 24 NRL match against the Sydney Roosters on AAMI Park on Friday night.

The back-rower, who has missed Storm’s last two games following the passing of his father Taniela, returned to training at Gosch’s Paddock yesterday.

With Kaufusi back, Nelson Asofa-Solomona has been named in the front-row with Tui Kamikamica moving to the interchange bench.

Among the additions to the reserves list are centre Marion Seve, who missed the Broncos match due to a hamstring injury; forward Trent Loiero who made his return from a long injury layoff in the Hostplus Cup last weekend; and winger Will Warbrick, who scored two tries and ran for an incredible 327 metres for the Sunshine Coast Falcons on Saturday.

Friday’s match doubles as Storm’s Members Appreciation Round and the official farewell for four Storm premiership winners - the Bromwich brothers, Jesse and Kenny, Brandon Smith and Felise Kaufusi – will be playing their last non-finals match in the purple jersey at AAMI Park.

Kickoff will be at 7.55pm.
