Storm unveil 2022 ANZAC Jersey

As is tradition, Melbourne Storm will wear a commemorative ANZAC Day jersey on Monday to honour and pay respect to all Australian and New Zealand servicemen and women.

This 2022 design showcases Storms iconic game day ceremony which has become synonymous with Melburnians on ANZAC Day.

The front of the jersey features an AAMI Park roof illuminated by a projection of poppies, while the bottom of the back panel includes ‘Lest We Forget’ projected onto the stadium roof.

Player silhouettes line the bottom of the front panel, highlighting the annual tradition to blackout the stadium to honour those that gave their life in service of their country.

The design also includes the silhouette of the Kokoda Track memorial located at the 1,000 steps here in Victoria to shine a light on the 80-year anniversary of the Kokoda campaign.

A limited supply of the jersey will be available at AAMI Park from the Storm store on game day.

The Warriors will also be wearing their commemorative ANZAC Day jersey as part of the two clubs’ continuing collaboration to honour those who protected, and continue to protect, the freedoms we enjoy.

Make sure to secure your seat to the historic match here. For more information on redeeming your membership ticket, see our guide.
