Injury Update

Harry Grant continues to work on his rehab after suffering a medial injury in the pre-season trial against Newcastle. His best case scenario is a return to the field in round five.

Co-captain Dale Finucane also faces at least two more weeks on the sidelines as he works his way back to full fitness following a calf tear prior to round one.

Brenko Lee has resumed running as he progresses to full fitness from a calf injury. He is expected to be available for round four.

Max King has yet to rejoin the full group in training following off-season achilles surgery. His estimated return is between rounds 8-10.

Club Update

Melbourne Storm’s exclusive 250 Games Club inducted a new member last Thursday, when co-captain Jesse Bromwich led the team out at Bankwest Stadium against Parramatta.

Of the more than 200 players who have played in the NRL for Storm, only five players before Jesse have reached the 250-game mark.

The club will partner with the Good Friday Appeal in 2021, helping to celebrate 90 years of giving for the kids.

The new initiative is part of the Storm’s push to create a permanent blockbuster fixture on Good Friday each year, supporting and raising funds for the Royal Children’s Hospital.
