This weekend, Melbourne Storm Jersey Flegg U21s will travel to Fiji to take on Kaiviti Silktails.
Both sides will honour recently retired Storm forward and Fiji Bati captain Tui Kamikamica when the two clubs contest the inaugural Tui Kamikamica Bowl at Churchill Park, Lautoka on Saturday 29 August.
The game will recognise Kamikamica’s contribution to rugby league in both Fiji and Australia, as well as the pathway he represents for aspiring Fijian players.
Storm Player #181, Kamikamica made his NRL debut in Round 5 2017, going on to make 142 appearances for Storm. He featured in 15 NRL Finals matches, including the 2024 and 2025 Grand Finals, and was named Storm’s Most Improved Player in 2019.
His decade of service was recognised earlier this month when he was inducted as Melbourne Storm Life Member #44.
Kamikamica also proudly represented his country Fiji, making 23 appearances for the Fiji Bati and being appointed captain in 2023 of the Fiji Bati and continues to be an inspiration to aspiring young Fijian rugby league players.

The inaugural Tui Kamikamica Bowl will be played as part of the NSW Jersey Flegg Cup at Churchill Park on Saturday 29 August with kick-off at 11:00am Fiji Time / 9:00am AEST
