Brandon Smith fit and firing

Melbourne Storm utility Brandon Smith is fit to play as his side fights to keep their season alive against Parramatta Eels in Saturday night's semi-final.

Smith has battled the flu since late last week and missed the early days of training this week as he completed his recovery, a sore shoulder adding to his woes after it was twisted in a nasty tackle during the qualifying final loss to Canberra Raiders last Saturday.

The Storm will be desperate for the energy and drive Smith brings to the game as they look to overcome the Eels and set-up an enthralling preliminary final against the Sydney Roosters at the SCG next Saturday night.
