Storm announce FinTech Partnerships

Melbourne Storm today announced the signing of two FinTech companies who will join the Club for the remainder of the 2019 NRL Season.

Storm CEO Dave Donaghy welcomed one of Australia’s leading payment solution companies, Safe2Pay, and a loyalty program market entrant, Plastiq, in the lead up to this week’s match against the Cronulla Sharks.

“We are really excited about partnering with these two new FinTech companies,” Donaghy said.

“If we are to remain competitive, on and off the field, we need to provide our fans and partners with new and innovative ways to connect with us.”

“Safe2Pay and Plastiq are leaders in the growing FinTech industry and we look forward to working with them for the remainder of the season.”

Safe2Play is an innovative business in a rapidly growing industry helping corporate partners through a proven, safe online payment gateway. Safe2Pay's integrated gateway and EFTPOS solutions enable multiple payment channels to run under one integrated solution.

Plastiq offers a cash-back loyalty program and will occupy the top back of our training shirts for the remainder of the season giving them the platform to launch their business in Australia in August.
