Season Review: Josh Addo-Carr

There was no hint of second year blues for Josh Addo-Carr.

The Foxx increased his tally to 41 tries in two seasons for Melbourne after crossing the line another 18 times in 2018 to sit equal fourth on the NRL's try scoring tally.

He also surpassed 3,000 metres for the second consecutive year on his way to producing 17 line-breaks.

Addo-Carr's form was so scintillating that he gave NSW selectors no choice but to hand him a debut Origin jersey. The young superstar did not disappoint, scoring two tries in his maiden series on the way to reclaiming the shield for the Blues.

His first two seasons in purple have been nothing short of outstanding but the 23-year-old is just getting started.
