Easts Tigers progressed to a Preliminary final after a dominant win over Ipswich Jets on Saturday.

The Tigers scored two tries inside the opening 10 minutes to set the tone and eventually ran away with a 50-20 victory.

Marion Seve sealed the victory with a hat-trick in the final half hour of the game.

"He was keen to play well against his own team, he knows a lot of the boys there so didn't want to go out against them," Easts coach Scott Sipple said.

"He was rewarded for his effort, his first half was very good. He had some strong carries and got us on the front foot early in the set and then picked up a couple of tries at the end.

"He is back to his early season form."
