Home Preliminary final details confirmed

Melbourne Storm will take on either the Sharks or Panthers at AAMI Park next Friday night for a spot in the 2018 NRL Grand Final.

The Preliminary final will kick off at 7.50pm with a massive sea of purple expected to cheer on the Victorian side as they chase a place in their third successive decider.

The game will also be Billy Slater's last in Melbourne.

Storm earned a week off and the right to host the Preliminary Final after defeating the Rabbitohs in thrilling circumstances on Friday night.

A Cameron Munster field goal in the dying moments sealed an incredible win in front of an electric crowd at AAMI Park.

Ticket on-sale dates will be confirmed early this week.
