Will Chambers has this morning accepted the dangerous contact charge handed down by the NRL Judiciary.

The 30-year-old has been ruled out for the next three weeks, meaning he will be unavailable for the final two games of the regular season and Week One of the NRL Finals series.

The incident occurred during the first half of Friday night's 20-4 win over the Eels, which saw Melbourne reclaim top spot on the NRL ladder.

A right-edge replacement for Chambers will be named on Tuesday when Melbourne announce their extended 21-man squad to take on the Titans on the Gold Coast this Saturday.
