Justin Olam played his best game in a Sunshine Coast Falcons jersey although it was not enough to get the Storm feeder side over the line.

The Falcons led by two points at half-time but could not hold on as Northern Pride ran in three tries to two in the second half.

Olam scored a try in the 79th minute and looked strong in defence as his development broke through new ground on Saturday.

"It was probably Justin's best game for us, he was really, really good on the weekend," Olam said.

"He was a lot more patient and really good on his process.

"I was really happy for him because you can see he is becoming for Storm orientated, I can't give him a big enough wrap."

Harry Grant was also another standout performer for the Falcons who will look to get back on the winner's list when they host the CQ Capras this Sunday.
