Storm youngsters go close in Rotorua

1' We're off an running here at Rotorua International Sport Stadium!

4' TRY STORM! What a start by this young team. Justin Olam bursts through the line before passing off to Sunshine Coast Falcons winger Matt Sopa-Lowler who chews up the remaining 20 metres to open the scoring!

6' Conversion misses right but Storm have the early 4-nil lead.

15' Both teams trading sets back and forth. We are certainly willing to put in the hard yards early on here!

16' A penalty to the Warriors hands them possession deep in Storm territory

19' Try Warriors. Solomone Kata gets down the left edge, The conversion is missed and we're back even at 4-all

29' Try Warriors. The weight of possession eventually tells as David Fusitu'a goes over down the right touchline. The success conversion gives the home side a 6-point advantage

37' Unfortunately errors are seeing us limited with opportunity in attack although we’ve earned some good possession the last few minutes

44' Try Warriors. They make us pay for consecutive errors and take a six point lead

56' Storm continue to push to find a way back into the contest and are starting to enjoy consistent possession of the football

60' TRY STORM!! Harry Grant goes over with a brilliant solo run. The young hooker has been terrific today! Scott Drinkwater adds the conversion and we trail by just six.

71' Try Warriors. Some fast hands sees them break our line to extend their margin back out to 10pts.

77' TRY STORM!! Ryan Papenhuyzen WOW! He uses an outstanding burst of speed to leave the Warriors defence in his wake and run 60m to score. The margin is back to six!
