Leuluai granted release from Storm

Melbourne Storm has today granted Vincent Leuluai a release to return to Sydney effective immediately.

Leuluai joined Storm midway through the 2016 season and played two games for the Club earlier this year.

During his time in Melbourne he had a strong impact at feeder level playing with Sunshine Coast Falcons in the Queensland Cup.

The 22-year-old will now look to continue his career with the South Sydney Rabbitohs.

Storm Football Director Frank Ponissi said that the Club wished Leuluai all the best for the next chapter:

“While we are very disappointed to see Vinnie go, we fully respect and understand his reasons for wanting to return to Sydney.

“As a Club we did not want to stand in the way of Vinnie who over the last 18 months has shown outstanding professionalism, work ethic and a commitment to Melbourne Storm values.

“We wish him all the best for the future.”
