Cooper Cronk will join elite company on Saturday when he becomes just the eighth player in NRL history to make 30 finals appearances.

His teammate and soon to be NRL games record holder Cameron Smith (30) is the only current player with more finals experience.

Cronk played his first final back in 2004, coming off the bench in a 31-14 Qualifying Final win over the Broncos at Suncorp Stadium.

He has since represented Storm in six grand finals and in 2012 was named the Clive Churchill Medallist.

Storm fans will be hoping the 33-year-old’s last finals campaign in purple will be one to remember.
