We are only 11 days in but there is already plenty for Tim Glasby to look forward to in 2017.

Back into full training after the Christmas break, the 27-year-old has not missed a beat this pre-season.

In the absence of the Club’s representative players, Glasby has been one of the team’s most experienced and it is a role he has thrived in.

He also has his hands full off the field after receiving an early Christmas present with the birth of his first child.

To top it off, the reliable prop is once again preparing to take part in Queensland’s Emerging Origin camp from January 29 to 31.

It is the second straight year he will be a part of the program and will three time be joined by three Storm teammates Felise Kaufusi, Cameron Munster and Christian Welch.

Origin football is a clear dream for Glasby and the Rockhampton-native is well aware of what is required if he is to achieve it.

"I would be stoked. It would be an absolute honour,” Glasby told the Sunshine Coast Daily.

"I think there's good things that have to happen for anyone to play Origin. You have to be playing good footy at the right time and that's my goal.”

"It definitely does interest me. I was pretty keen to go this year but we'll see how we go.”
