Melbourne Storm have landed in Townsville in preparation for Saturday night’s blockbuster clash against the Cowboys at 1300SMILES Stadium.

Craig Bellamy’s side landed in the sunshine state and will begin preparations as second and third place on the NRL ladder prepare to do battle in Round 21.

Melbourne will be aiming for their fifth straight win and to consolidate their position inside the top four after another strong performance at home last week against the Sydney Roosters.

The last time the two sides met was in Round 10 where Storm narrowly defeated the Cowboys 15-14 at Suncorp Stadium with a Cameron Smith field goal proving to be the difference between the two sides.
