After a long wait Storm forward Jesse Bromwich can't wait to get out on the park in front of a home crowd.

Melbourne kicked-off the 2015 season with away games in Kogarah and Manly but will return home on Saturday night to AAMI Park for the first time since the 2014 Elimination Final.

"I'm really looking forward to playing our first home game this year," Bromwich said.

"We can't wait to play in front of our fans.

"We pride ourselves in having AAMI Park and we really pride ourselves on our defence here too."

The New Zealand international also highlighted a specific area for improvement heading into Saturday night's contest following on from Melbourne's Round 2 loss to Manly.

"It was really frustrating that last eight minutes of that first half," Bromwich said.

"We really need to improve that and be consistent with our defence for the whole game and not just 70 minutes."

Storm will play their first home game of the season on Saturday night at AAMI Park against the Sharks from 7:30pm. Round 3 is #PlayNRL Round across the NRL, promoting Junior Rugby League all over the country and driving the important message about having fun, making friends and staying fit.

Be there when Storm take on the Sharks, Saturday 21 March from 7:30pm at AAMI Park.
