MELBOURNE STORM SHOP - CLICK HERE

Melbourne Storm members have had the first look at the Club's new 2015 home jersey in an exclusive offer run in conjunction with premium partner Lumo Energy.

The exclusive offer, which hit mailboxes earlier this week, gives members the opportunity to receive a free home jersey when they renew their 2015 Melbourne Storm membership and make the switch to Lumo Energy for great savings.

Made by leading apparel brand and Melbourne Storm official on-field apparel partner BLK, the 2015 home jersey features a brand new design and a number of exciting innovations.

The jersey stays true to Storm's traditional purple and navy colour base also introducing a silver blast across the front chest. Fully sublimated Crown Resorts, Suzuki, BLK and Tigerair logos will be included, as will embroidered Storm and NRL logos.

In 2015 the BLK logo will move from it’s traditional centre chest positioning to the top of both shoulders for the first time with the logo also featuring the brand’s hashtag #beyondlimitsknown.

Further digital innovations for the new jersey include the addition of the @Storm twitter handle on the top back neck and the #purplepride hashtag on the inside neckline.

Storm will also introduce a new away jersey design for season 2015 which will be released in the lead up to Christmas.

Following the member exclusive first look, home jerseys will be available as a retail replica ($149.95) for all members and fans to pre-order from melbournestormshop.com.au.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Why do we need a new jersey?
The vast majority of sports teams change the look and feel of their jerseys at least every few years – often this happens more frequently in the NRL. The new home jersey is reflective of Storm’s history and marries the Club’s iconic purple colour with the dark blue for its Victorian heritage. A clean silver strip across the chest brings the colours together to create the new style.

What has happened to the lightning bolts?
The lightning bolts will remain on Storm players in 2015 – both the shorts and socks proudly display the iconic symbol.

Is this the first time Storm hasn’t had lightning bolts on its jersey?
No. The Storm’s first jersey in 1998 also didn’t have lightning bolts.

Will there be other new jerseys in 2015?
Yes. Storm will again show it’s the leader in this field by partnering with Official On Field Apparel Partner BLK to launch a number of new and innovative products this year.
