Tohu Harris will play his 50th first grade match this weekend when he lines up against Canterbury in Sunday’s Elimination Final at AAMI Park.

The powerful youngster has raced his way to 50 NRL games after making his debut for Storm last season. Harris first pulled on the purple jersey in the Club’s 2013 World Club Challenge triumph over Leeds before making his NRL debut shortly after in Storm’s Round 1 opener against St. George Illawarra.

Capping off a stellar 2013 season, Harris won Storm’s Rookie of the Year Award and also earned representative honours for New Zealand. In 2014, the forward has continued the good work of his debut season, becoming a reliable and versatile member of Melbourne’s squad with the ability to fill a number of roles.

Together with Bryan Norrie, Kevin Proctor and Ryan Hinchcliffe, Harris has featured in all 24 of Storm’s appearances for the season to date.
