Melbourne Storm Captain Cameron Smith suffered a left ankle sprain in the first half of last night’s match against the Broncos at AAMI Park.

Storm Football Director Frank Ponissi has provided the following update on Saturday after the team’s recovery session.

“Cameron was able to play out the game and has pulled up better than expected this morning after being assessed by the Club’s medical staff. He will continue to receive treatment throughout the week and at this stage is a 50/50 chance to play in Storm’s first final next weekend,” Ponissi said.
