In Friday night’s clash between Storm and the Broncos, the versatile Ben Roberts will match up against one of the NRL’s most dynamic players, Ben Barba.

Ben Roberts joined Storm in January after spending nine years in the NRL system and has added experience and versatility to Craig Bellamy’s list, assuming the number six role throughout the second half of the season.

Roberts’ consistent form, playing alongside Cooper Cronk has been instrumental in Storm’s run during the closing two months of the season as they look to lock down a position inside the NRL’s top eight.

The 2012 Dally M Medalist, Barba, is starting to hit his straps at the right time of the season enjoying a fresh playmaking role in the five-eighth position. A dangerous ballplayer in any side, Barba has added plenty of skill and pace to Anthony Griffen’s squad this season, often finding himself in threatening positions, causing headaches for opposition defences.
