Melbourne Storm Coach Craig Bellamy has quashed speculation halfback Cooper Cronk will make a surprise return to football on Monday night against the Dragons.

Cronk has not appeared for Storm since the side's 27-14 victory over South Sydney in Round 10 after injuring his arm in the State of Origin series opener in Brisbane last month.

"He's no hope at all, I don't know where all this (speculation) has come from," Bellamy said.

"If anyone thinks he is and they want to put their house on it I'm willing to put my house up.

"He's no chance of playing.

"He's probably at least three or four weeks away from playing."

Be there at AAMI Park in Round 18 when Storm take on the Bulldogs.
