Melbourne captain Cameron Smith will become the most capped Storm player in history while team-mate Billy Slater will play his 250th NRL match in Saturday night’s Telstra Premiership clash against Penrith at AAMI Park.

Smith, who today announced a new four-year deal with the Storm, will surpass the mark of 262 games he currently shares with Storm legend Matt Geyer.

“Cameron and Billy are both superstars of our game and for them to celebrate these milestones together is fitting given what they have achieved together in the game,” NRL Head of Football, Mr Todd Greenberg, said today.

Fan Up and celebrate with Storm on Saturday. Don’t miss this record breaking match as Cameron Smith breaks the club games record and Billy Slater plays his 250th game. Tickets here.

“For Cam to continue his career as a one-club player with Melbourne is great for Storm fans and for Rugby League.”
