Melbourne Storm has today announced a multi-year partnership that will see adidas become the Club’s Official Apparel Partner across the NRL team, elite male and female pathways and academy programs.

The multi-year partnership brings together two much-loved sporting organisations, united by a shared commitment to high performance and excellence in Australian sport.

The partnership comes at an exciting moment for rugby league as it continues to grow both domestically and internationally. Melbourne Storm will make history in 2027 opening its NRL season with the Club’s first ever Premiership game outside of Australia and New Zealand when Craig Bellamy’s side travels to Las Vegas in February. This moment will also signal the debut of the Club’s new adidas jersey in an NRL game for the first time.

Helping to connect Storm with global innovation and excellence, adidas will bring to the partnership its expertise and experience in working with the world’s highest performing teams and athletes from across sporting disciplines all over the world.

Storm x adidas

The partnership which spans across playing kit, training, performance and lifestyle apparel was launched today with a brand film produced by adidas, celebrating Melbourne Storm as a Club built differently. For almost 30 years, Storm has brought together athletes from different places, backgrounds and pathways, and built one of the most relentless high-performance cultures in Australian sport. The brand film highlights what it takes to be a Melbourne Storm player; the unique combination of athleticism, resilience, discipline, mentality and standards.

Showcasing that in the adidas lab is Trent Loiero, Harry Grant, Cameron Munster, Sua Fa’alogo and Jahrome Hughes as their skills are assessed by scientists in the form of Club legends Robbie Kearns and Ryan Hoffman, and Head Coach Craig Bellamy.

Melbourne Storm Chief Commercial and Customer Officer Tayah Bot said, “Melbourne Storm has always prided itself on being a Club built different, and adidas is a partner that shares our ambition, our values and commitment to excellence.

“We’re incredibly proud to welcome adidas as our Official Apparel Partner and to join forces with one of the world’s most iconic sporting brands. We can’t wait to see our new adidas playing kits, training wear and lifestyle apparel across our Melbourne Storm NRL and Pathway programs and throughout our community.

“There’s no better way to launch our partnership than debuting our new NRL jersey on the world stage in Las Vegas to kick-off our 2027 season.”

Rachel Howard, General Manager adidas Pacific, said, “Melbourne Storm has built a strong and distinctive identity through its commitment to discipline, resilience and performance, and those qualities are what make this partnership such a natural fit for adidas.

“We’re excited to bring the Three Stripes to Melbourne Storm, and work alongside the Club’s players, members and fans as we look ahead to the 2027 season and beyond.”

The new adidas training and performance range will be launched in line with Melbourne Storm returning to pre-season in November, with the Club’s 2027 home and away jerseys to be unveiled later in the year. More information for members and fans will be announced shortly.
