Team Announcement: Round 8 v Rabbitohs

Melbourne Storm has confirmed its ANZAC Day squad for Saturday’s Round 8 clash with the South Sydney Rabbitohs at AAMI Park.

Craig Bellamy has named an unchanged starting side from Round 7, with Manaia Waitere retaining his place on the wing and Cooper Clarke starting at second-row.

Harry Grant will captain the side from hooker, with vice-captains Cameron Munster and Jahrome Hughes in the halves.

The interchange bench features two potential milestones, with Shawn Blore set for his 50th Melbourne Storm appearance and Jack Hetherington in line for his 100th NRL game. Hugo Peel also remains in contention to make his NRL debut.

Saturday’s ANZAC Day fixture will again feature the presentation of the Spirit of ANZAC Medal, awarded to the best player on the field following the final siren, with the winner selected by the winning coach.
