Melbourne Storm’s General Manager of Football, Frank Ponissi has provided an injury update ahead of Sunday’s Round 10 clash with the Wests Tigers.
Harry Grant (hamstring strain):
“We were hoping that Harry would be available this week (to face the Tigers) but it’s probably a week too soon. We expect Harry to be fit and available to play the Sharks in Round 11.”
Jack Howarth (dislocated shoulder):
“Jack is progressing well and has returned to training. We expect Jack to be available the week after our bye, ready to play against the Titans in Round 13.”
Moses Leo (fractured shoulder):
“Moses is a little further away but is training well. We’re hopeful he will be available to make his return in mid to late June.”
Jonah Pezet (knee):
“Jonah continues to recover well. He still has a lot of work to do and we have no return date just yet, but we're hoping for sometime in late June or July."
Will Warbrick (concussion):
“There’s no update unfortunately on Will’s return to play. He is recovering slowly, and like all concussions, he will take his time and tread carefully. We certainly won’t push Will and when he’s ready he’ll start training more and we’ll have a better understanding of his return date.”
