Catch up on all the best bits from Craig Bellamy's chat with the media ahead of Storm's Battle of the Tasman against the New Zealand Warriors.

Craig’s expectations and training mentality after Storm’s Round 1 win

“We know there's some things that we need to improve on and that we've worked on that this week.”

“We just need the same attitude we as last week. It was a really gritty performance, gutsy.”

“It's a long hard season so to start getting carried away with or getting too far down the dumps, that's not going to help you next week.”

“It was very pleasing performance and pleasing result, but that’s not going to help us this week. You turn up and prepare well and hopefully perform well again.”

Further update on Cameron Munster’s injury

“One day it's looks like he's going to play, the next day it's flared up again.”

“It's been sort of strange how it comes and goes but hopefully he can hack it with the consistency in his training.”

“It's been hard for our medical people too...it's reactive.”

“The last couple of days have been good. So hopefully he can continue on that and then hopefully he might be right the next week.”

Nelson Asofa-Solomona's injury progress

“I'm not too sure with Nelson. He's had a couple of relapses of his [hamstring injury] as well.”

“He needs to do a fair bit more training before he comes back into the NRL side.”

“We'll just see how he progresses in the next couple of weeks.”

Festival of Footy at AAMI Park

“It's first time it's happened.”

“Putting a lot more emphasis on our kids and on our junior teams and our Junior Rep teams and it all flows right down from there.”

“It means a fair bit to the Club to have the four teams playing tomorrow on the one day.”

“Hopefully all the teams will enjoy that with all of us being together on the one day, but also perform well as well.”

“The Melbourne kids that have come through, it's obvious they probably haven't had the preparation through their junior years as the kids in Queensland, New South Wales and New Zealand have.”

“I think we're starting to get that in Melbourne now and hopefully, it'll show through in the next couple of years.”

What are Storm expecting from the Warriors based on Round 1?

“They were blistering in the first 20 or 30 minutes and then it just sort of settled down.”

“I've always thought with the start of the season, the Warriors were going to be one of the teams that were going to be up there and they would have been real happy with the way they started last week.”

“They'll be coming here pretty desperate and pretty determined I'd imagine.”

Jonah Pezet’s development following five-eighth role

“He's always been a confident kid.”

“There's plenty of talking, plenty of organising, it’s just with his contact. He's not a real big guy, but that's the area that he has improved. He just needs to make sure he does a good job of that. He kicks well and the rest of it really falls into place for him.”
