Season in Review: Sua Fa'alago

One of the most exciting talents in the NRL, Fa’alago enjoyed a standout year, winning Feeder Club player of the Year at the Melbourne Storm Awards Night while also receiving his NRL debut in Round 27 against the Brisbane Broncos.

The local Victorian’s debut was certainly one to remember, scoring an incredible sixty metre effort with just his very first touch of the football as well as scoring the match winning try.

His two line breaks and eight tackle breaks in that game also proving Fa’alago’s feats at feeder level were certainly no fluke.

Dominating the stats sheet for the Sunshine Coast Falcons, Fa’alago proved near impossible to stop, scoring 13 tries and having 22 goals, nine try assists, 13 line breaks and 2,7466 run metres from his 18 games.

Alongside his NRL debut, Fa’alago also earnt his debut for Samoa, named at fullback for their opening clash against the Kangaroos in the Pacific Championships.
