Sua Fa'alago to become player 231

Sua Fa'alago will become Storm player 231 and the fifth Victorian to represent Storm when he makes his NRL debut tonight against the Broncos.

Hailing from local club Northern Thunder, Fa'alago has risen through the ranks in the Melbourne system, progressing through Storm’s SG Ball and Jersey Flegg system before excelling for feeder club Sunshine Coast Falcons in the HostPlus Cup.

A dynamic fullback with elusive footwork and blistering speed, the Melbourne local has enjoyed a stellar season in the Hostplus Cup this year, scoring 13 tries from his 18 appearances for the Sunshine Coast Falcons.

Fa'alago made headlines in Storm’s pre-season trial against the Sydney Roosters where he scooped up a loose ball and raced 90m to score in what was a brief taste of what was to come for those Storm fans eagerly awaiting his opportunity to shine on the big stage.
