Jack Howarth becomes player 232

Jack Howarth will become player number 232 when he makes his NRL debut for the Melbourne Storm on Thursday night against the Broncos.

After moving to Brisbane at a young age to attend Brisbane Boys High School, Howarth was identified as an extremely promising talent at a young age and since signing with the Storm has gone on to represent the Australian Schoolboys and U19 Maroons.

Capable of playing second-row or in the centres, the 20-year-old has impressed for Storm feeder club the Sunshine Coast Falcons over the past two seasons, showcasing a strong defence and a potent running game.
