Stats that matter: Round 25 v Dragons

Check out all the stats that matter from Melbourne Storm's Round 25 win over the St George-Illawarra Dragons on Saturday.

Hughes scores 50th

Jahrome Hughes secured a quiet milestone in Round 25, going over the line for his 50th career try.

Hughes seems to find his footing when coming up against the Dragons, having gone on to score a try in all six of his games against the 'Red V'.

Most goals in the league

Fullback Nick Meaney had his kicking boots on Saturday evening, ending the night topping the NRL charts for the most goals this season so far with 82.

Four conversions and a penalty goal against the Dragons saw him pip Cronulla Five-eighth Nicho Hynes (81) for the top spot in the final few weeks of the regular season.

Meaney chalks up 200 points

Meaney kept up his stats over the weekend, chalking up over 200 points in 2023 (204), second only to the Dolphins' Jamayne Isaako (220).

The 25-year-old hasn't gone a game without scoring this season, with an average of just under 8 points.
