Storm continue support for DonateLife

Melbourne Storm has once again teamed up with Donate Life ahead of its Round 22 clash with the Parramatta Eels at Marvel Stadium to encourage more Australians to register as organ and tissue donors.

While it only takes one minute to register as an organ and tissue donor, it could save up to seven lives. There are currently around 1,800 people on the organ waitlist while thousands more are on dialysis.

As part of Donate Life Week 2023, Storm is aiming to help grow awareness and boost registered donor numbers through several initiatives in the lead up to game day.

Storm’s NRL squad will be wearing Donate life t-shirts and beanies at training throughout the week as they prepare for a crucial match-up against the Eels.

With game day taking place at Marvel Stadium, fans can register as organ donors online or at the game with the DonateLife team set to be stationed outside the venue in the lead-up to kick-off.

As match day partners, Donate Life will also be present at the Round 22 Coin Toss, while all ball kids will wear Donate Life t-shirts.

Our Donate Life junior mascots will also run out with club captain Christian Welch as he leads the Storm side out onto Marvel Stadium.

It takes one minute to register, and all you need is your phone and Medicare card.

Register to become an organ and tissue donor, now.
