Storm to celebrate 25 Years in Round 22

Melbourne Storm are set to turn Marvel Stadium purple as the Club celebrates its 25-year anniversary when they take on the Parramatta Eels in Round 22

Storm’s short, but impressive history will be honoured with a special on-field pre-game ceremony, followed by an exclusive commemoration dinner.

The festivities will begin with Marvel Stadium plunged into darkness as iconic video highlights, rousing commentary and a spectacular light show showcase Melbourne’s iconic history.

The Club’s premiership trophies will then be presented as the Storm Old Boys lead the new generation out onto the field, forming a guard of honour as they make their way to the centre stage for kick-off.

The current NRL squad will also wear the 2023 Storm heritage jersey, a design based on the kit the inaugural 1998 side wore for their first-ever home game at Olympic Park, against North Sydney Bears.

The celebrations won’t stop there, continuing Saturday night at the Club’s 25 Year Anniversary dinner. With players, staff, members and fans in attendance to hear from past and present players and coaches as they reminisce on Storm’s history and look ahead to the future. This event has since sold out.

We can’t wait to share this incredible anniversary with you, our loyal Storm family, so don’t miss out and unlock your seat to Round 22, today!
