Nelson Asofa-Solomona named in Maori All Stars squad

Nelson Asofa-Solomona is set to make his first NRL All Stars appearance after being named in the Maori All Stars squad.

The appointment comes off the back of a big year at International level for Asofa-Solomona who represented the Kiwis in the mid-year Test before playing a key role for the side at the 2022 Rugby League World Cup.

The 26-year-old's on-field performance saw him play a key role in both his Melbourne Storm and international appearances, scoring four tries on the NRL stage, followed by playing in all five of New Zealand’s matches in England, scoring a try in their opening pool game against Lebanon.

The Storm prop will perform in front of a home crowd as the NRL Harvey Norman All Stars plays its first game in New Zealand against the Indigenous All Stars on Saturday 11 February.
