Chris Lewis: Season in Review

A regular within Melbourne Storm’s bench rotation during the second half of the year, Chris Lewis recorded a solid third season in the Melbourne forward pack.

Consistently bolstering the Club’s defence from the sideline, Lewis completed the season with 15 on-field appearances, one line-break assist and 218 tackles with a 95.6% efficiency.

Notably, Round 12 saw the former teacher score his first try of the 2022 season, only one minute after entering the field from the interchange bench.

The 30-year-old also continued in his fifth season in the Queensland HostPlus Cup with the Sunshine Coast Falcons. Making three appearances, the forward maintained his high tackle efficiency rating, with 93.6% from 86 tackles.

Lewis continues with Storm into 2023 where he is sure to continue reinforcing Storm’s defence efforts.
