Jayden Nikorima: Season in Review

Six years since his last NRL appearance made Jayden Nikorima’s return more special than ever.

Becoming Melbourne Storm player 223 in Round 16, Nikorima assumed the role of five-eighth covering an injured Cameron Munster. From his first 2022 run, the playmaker recorded 16 tackles and 13 receipts.

He went on to complete his season as 18th man in multiple matches, providing a solid utility option for the Club.

When not on the first-grade stage, the 26-year-old continued his development with Storm’s feeder club the Brisbane Tigers in Queensland’s HostPlus Cup.

With nine tries, two man-of-the-match titles, 1,705 total run metres, and 16 line-breaks, the hooker assumed a key play-making role within the Tigers squad.

Re-committing to Storm until 2023, we are sure to see a lot more of Nikorima next season.
