New Zealand names Storm players in World Cup squad

Jahrome Hughes and Nelson Asofa-Solomona are set to represent New Zealand on the world stage in the upcoming 2022 Rugby League World Cup in England.

Departing Storm players, Jesse Bromwich, Kenny Bromwich and Brandon Smith have also been named to represent their homeland when the Cup kicks off in October.

Having already played for the national team earlier this year in the International Test, Hughes and Asofa-Solomona will once again pull on the black jersey when New Zealand face Lebanon in their opening game of the World Cup on October 17.
