Nelson Asofa-Solomona helped hold down the forward line ringing in 10 tackle breaks in his 66 minutes on the pitch.

Alongside 18 hit-ups for 138 run metres, 48 post-contact metres, 3 offloads and 25 tackles, NAS once again proved his status as a big and impressive presence on-field.

Melbourne Storm retained the title as the only team to keep the reigning premieres scoreless in the past 8 years.

Round 13 against Storm of the 2015 season was the last time the Panthers couldn’t get over the scoreline at their home ground, with the visitors holding 20 points over them.

Blake Green and a fresh-faced Cameron Munster, also then at fullback, were the only two to go over the line, with club legend Cameron Smith on kicking duties.

Recording 45 tackles in the 20-metre line compared to the home team's 12, Storm’s held strong to keep the premiers from getting on the board.
