Melbourne Storm’s pits and bits will remain fresh through to the end of the 2025 NRL season thanks to an extension of the club’s partnership with TRADIE.
The initial two-year contract has been extended by another three years with the family-owned Victorian company, renowned for its quality underwear and deodorants, continuing to hold the prime position on the lower back of Storm’s playing jerseys.
And to celebrate, TRADIE is launching a range of Storm branded undies which will go on sale via the club’s merchandise store and Tradie.com.
As Storm’s Official Underwear, Deodorant and Bodywash Partner, TRADIE has featured some of the club’s leading players in nationwide television and public transport advertising campaigns over the past two years.
And the playing and football department staff have embraced using the TRADIE products at work at AAMI Park, on their away trips and when they’re back at home away from football.
Storm General Manager – Commercial, Partnerships and Corporate Sales Daniel Cullinan said the partnership would continue to highlight TRADIE Underwear, as well as the TRADIE deodorant and bodywash range.
“We’ve developed a very close relationship with the team at TRADIE in just a short period of time,” Cullinan.
“We’re delighted that they will continue to be a member of the Storm family.
“Our players love the TRADIE products and have certainly bought into the fun and edgy image and philosophy that they love to portray with their brand.
“We’ve seen plenty of mutual benefits across the initial contract and we will grow on these over the next three seasons.”
Born in 2010 by founder Ben Goodfellow, TRADIE started as an underwear brand and has expanded into numerous categories for Australian families including socks, workwear, boots, babywear, deodorant, bodywash and drinks.
Its partnership with Storm is TRADIE’s first with an NRL club.
"TRADIE and Storm are the perfect package,” Goodfellow said.
“We love to push the boundaries and the Storm boys have been happy to jump in and do some of our wilder suggestions.
“We’ve been having plenty of fun with Storm and it’s definitely brought more attention to the TRADIE brand.”
“It was an easy decision for us to stay involved with the best club in the NRL.”
